10/26/2008 - Iowa retaurant serves Vande Rose Farms Beef for award

Court Avenue Restaurant and Brewing Co. of Des Moines has received the 2008 Iowa Beef Backer award from Iowa's beef producers.

The honor is bestowed upon an Iowa restaurant exemplifying exceptional beef dining. The restaurant will compete for the National Beef Backer title, which will be announced during the Cattle Industry Annual Convention in January.

Court Avenue Restaurant and Brewing Company has been privately owned and operated since opening in 1996. It specializes in Premium Hereford Beef from Vande Rose Farms, a family business in Oskaloosa.
